It's nice when an Eve Pilot will join a factional war channel, and travel to the location of each fray. They are helpful, and can turn the tide. I've seen some games, though, where the side for which we are fighting have no points, and the eve pilot with have a dust character idling, and will drop an orbital strike with it wherever, because eve pilots get rewarded regardless of helpfulness or victory. I think that if one team is holding every point, and an enemy Eve pilot happens to be in the system, they should be at greater risk.
Firstly you do know how big EVE systems are right?
Given that a Null Cannon is probably no bigger than a Medium Missile Turret it would not have the range to project a missile at a random EVE pilot in System who could be in station, in warp, in a mission, in their own complex, etc.
Plus it would be a bad mechanic. Out of the blue being shot at by some terrestrial based jackasses while I might be engaging other pilots or doing other things.

There was at some point going to be an installation called a skyfire battery (at least if the trailers are to be believed) that could take down supercaps in a single shot.
..... Yeah because there are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many super caps in the Min Amarr warzone.....
CCP would never have put the ability to destroy $4000 US of content in the hands of attention deficit misfits who can't handle half their intended content features....

There's more than one would think. None the less, this idea is idiotic. Maybe the ability to hit someone on beacon, but even that would do nothing but make OB support more rare than it already is.
Well there were a few about. But you just don't see them since their pilots don't use them actively.
I know we have a couple of Cap pilots in PIE but we never use the ships and the times I flew with ILAW and what not they didn't deploy any of their dreads.
Only Super Caps I've found were the Erebus the Min used to boost their fleets in Huola and a Revenant that was passing through low sec.
