It had items in it four days ago. They vanished for no apparent reason.
Mostly they have race specific suits, weapons, modules, and equipment for sale that take less skill investment to use. They require loyalty points to purchase, which are earned though factional warfare.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

LP store should have items in it. LP is a currency you only get through running Factional Warfare contracts.
They are just racial versions of the items you get from the normal market. Usually of better tier. So if you are only skilled into a STD scout/rifle, you can buy an LP scout/rifle that is ADV tier. So some people use that as a way to gain access to better tier items.
Additionally, every race has one specific piece of EQ which is better than any variant you can buy with ISk in the normal store. For instance a Proto Injector revives someone with 80% armor. But the Caldari LP Prototype Injector revives someone with 100% armor.
So it's important to review these stats carefully. You'll find some hidden gems in there. However, if you're brand new, I wouldn't recommend jumping into Factionals. You'll get stomped pretty hard.

That seems to happen in any gamemode.
For Equipment there are very good nanohives/ uplinks/ repair tools and nanite injectors.
Also you can now (soon again) buy APEX bpo suits. Those are fixed pre-fitted suits of a high level without skill requirements, which never run out.
They cost 1million credits and 100.000 LP of the respective faction. |

if you didnt notice there is only apex version of "every" race dropsuit. i imagine they will be making to so that theres now
faction caldari sentinels etc, as there werent before for lp store.

They are not redesigning it. The LP stores are empty because of a bug.
