You know when i'm soaking up say 500 DPS for 10 minutes keeping enemy fire off my team i wish i got rewarded for it. An example being I'm a heavy soaking up damage and leading the charge for my team. If i tank 40 percent of the enemy squad's DPS so my blue berries get stray shots hitting them but they don't die. Im helping the team by doing this and more so if we have a logistics suit near by.
I was Thinking for every 125 damage you tank you get 5 WPs. Not a super huge amount to get an orbital but enough to encourage you to get out of the red line and go try to Kick but in front lines or at least try.
tanks should also receive this but it would instead be 10 points for every 1000 damage(not including hardener resistances). This would make a super tanky Tank role up first more often while a High DPS tank roles behind him uses him as cover.
In the end if we got this blueberries would be more aggressive for WPs at least in front-line suits instead of red line sniping when you are losing.

I would Imagine FF would not count for Super points to prevent boosting as well.
Also i can't think of a better name for 'Super points' other then Super points xD

I have only person that could get a a kills worth of Score is a player with 1000 HP. most of the time probably only get 20 WPs for dying. A heavy with a logi would be making big score or tanking a lot of the DPS for friendlies. Risking your suit should be awarded some points sense you lose out on isk if you lose it in the end anyhow.
you could also add a thing you have to be damaging an enemy with in a certain time frame to get theses points to help balance it more and encourage players to try even more so.

Well only 1K at most would be soaked up per your life and if your doing 40K most you can give to a player on average is 100 WPs on current math. also i like the idea of a daily mission might be better and simpler to implement to prevent boosting. But seeing those points flash across the screen "It will not die" would also be cool and awesome. hmm idk which would be better :D

This way it rewards you for surviving for a long time while being actively engaged by the enemy, rather than for dying, and basing it on a percentage of the suitGÇÖs total Health it would work for any suit from Scout to Sentinel.
The specific numbers are debatable, of course. Maybe it should start after you take 300% damage (three near death experiences).
I like this because it allows all types of suits to get the points from it. also dose prevent you from going out to get your self killed for points. Also would make it harder to boost for WPs in FW. Biggest problem with this is rep tanks and shields would get more of these points then stacked Armor plates unless a logistics is repairing the team. Still though this could work better then the direct HP system.

If a player is soaking up the damage and keeping the enemy distracted and you take advantage of that to kill them the player that is got the agro should get rewarded don't you think. In a way that is supporting you. Even allows you to flank enemies really hard.

Ok well what if im a heavy in a door and there keep coming so im preventing them from entering the bunker with an objective. I can't kill them because they duck into over but i need to stay near the point to defend it. This allows a friendly to flank them and kill them and/or kill there links. so I should not get reward for tanking a ton of damage in the name for defending an objective?

Well i think war-barges should only come from eve pilots. war-barges based off points as a "score streak" is stupid to me. I just want the heavy to gain as much as isk as the logi. logi can pull around 500K isk in one match heavy gets half if not less. Not really fair sense both suits rely on each other in battle.
