GÇóFigure I would goof around with a Plasma Cannon, as they are the only weapon that I find to be much fun still in this game. GÇóJoin Skirmish. GÇóAshlands. GÇó5 minutes into match, I see a real tasty looking Gunnlogi. After glancing at his HP values, I figure I should be able to get him if I can land 4 shots. GÇóSneak up behind him. Get behind the tank. GÇóLand first shot. Critical hit, back of tank. GÇóTank takes notice. Tries to shoot me with Large Railgun. Misses pathetically. GÇóHe switched to the lower turret and fire a small railgun shot at me as well. Also misses. GÇóI land the second shot. Not a critical hit, because he turned when he faced me. But his shields are down, and I've scratched his armor! GÇóOne more shot and he is mine! GÇóA full 8 seconds has passed so far. GÇóTank activates nitrous. Zooms away to redline. He was 100m away and leaving by the time I was reloaded and back on target. GÇóI follow him to redline. I camp him. Landing shots here and there, but not enough in a row to pop him. GÇóFor the rest of the match, he sits 250m into the redline, taking potshots at me. GÇóWe were in this redline situation for the rest of the match, which lasted probably 9-10 more minutes. GÇóOur team loses, the rest of my allies were actually redlined on the other side of the map during this whole thing. Thing is. This happens ALL THE TIME. Tank drivers are complete wusses, and AV is not OP. I did everything right, and he did everything wrong. But I still didn't get the kill. I was able to sneak up on him for a critical opener. I landed every shot. I generally took him by surprise. I'm using a weapon he is weak against... He missed every shot when trying to kill me. Every shot. He wasn't being aware of his surroundings. Everything was supposed to be in my favor. But nope. Apparently I don't deserve the kill, because tanks are supposed to be invincible... Tl;dr Buff Plasma Cannons, or Nerf tanks again. Preferably the former. I ******* deserved that kill, and nobody can argue that point. Home at Last <3

Should have help his position, reacquired you as a target, and attempted to pick you off from range. Ah we had a dude like that the other day I actually logged in... played a couple of matches with some heathens. This one Gunnlogi was being a pissant and rolling onto the map only if he ever thought he could sneak up behind me or the other tanker. Eventually he went to sit right back in the red line doing nothing. We OB'd that sucker once and killed him a second time. So sweet. So satisfying. Due to me being a generally solo player, me generally being tied up with camping a redline tanker, and that I was using a Plasma Cannon, I couldn't get enough WP to call in a strike, except maybe a small flux. I kinda wish there was a mechanic that allowed free laser strikes on players that are in the redline for x minutes. I know that would be bad for redline matches, but I wanted this coward to die so bad. Home at Last <3

I wasn't really planning on tank hunting. I was really just planning on shooting peoplea dn just picking off stragglers from the sidelines. A warm up match. So I brought some fluxes with me in case I came across any equipment. I really wasn't even expecting to actually even kill him (because lolPlasmaCannon), until I hit his weak spot and took almost all his shields. Once I critted him, I kinda thought I'd get him though. Once I hit him the second time, I thought it was a shoe-in that I'd get him. I'm more or less upset that he had the option of just running to his redline on a moments notice. Its basically an IWin button to be able to just practically become immune to anyone that tries to kill you. I wish I had a module that let me run away for a few seconds and gave me what is essentially an invincibility buff... Home at Last <3
