Been contemplating joining a corp lately.
Upside easy to find peeps to squad up with, possibility of pc.
Downside, I'm kinda sitting on this corp name in the off chance I decide to do something with it
what's a merc to do?

Wait for the next patch and then join the corp that offers you the best damage bonus around.

Well, I think corp-tags aren't as important as having fun, so go with whatever makes you have the most fun. |

I would say if your that undecided just to wait. While your waiting keep sockin away that SP and ISK, that way when you decide your super ready.

34M sp and 1 month off 2 yrs at my corp, maybe not SUPER ready but I think it'll do lol

A group you'll have fun with.
It's fine to go 'Oh look shiny elitist corp' but if you don't enjoy playing with that group, they're not worth your time.
I recommend joining the public channels of corporations to check them out and play with a few of their squads first, then you can decide whether you like them or not and consider joining.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.
