Have been waiting for any news on this beyotch for about 3 years and nothing. Bethesda must either be in some deep development or their thumbs must still be deeply planted in their asses.

It takes Bethesda Game Studios 37 months to make a FO or a Skyrim, so 37 months from Dragonborn FEB 2013.
So 2016, but maybe late 2015 if they are motivated.
I wish I had never played FO3, why? because i'd be playing it right now!

Depends.
I hope they leave New Vegas and either return to its roots in California or create another DC-esque city crawler.
Honestly I've been waiting for a Boston Commonwealth setting for a long time, androids, hyper advanced technology, a society in flux, a Commonwealth Wasteland, anti technology or technology worshiping tribals, plenty of grounds for implants, science experiments gone wrong, etc.

Wish they'd go the commonwealth as well with a dlc in Ronto or Texas (and not that brotherhood of **** game)

They're likely done with the Mojave, so Boston or something else will likely be next. Skyrim and its DLCs are done with and ESO is out and supported by Zenimax so Fallout's probably in development. The fact that they now have to learn the new consoles probably put them a little back.

Just wait.
They are either working on Fallout 4 or Elder Scrolls VI. I hope it is the former.
Anyway it regularly takes a few years, and they come out pretty good, so just wait.
Why is it so quiet? Where is everyone?
It's unbearable...
So quiet...

This seems like the likeliest cause. Honestly I'd love Fallouts made by Bethesda Game Studios and Obsidian. Both did amazing jobs bringing awesome stories, characters, settings and gameplay features to life.

I don't think that's considered official cannon.... much in the same way the events of Tactics are also not considered Cannon.

That they did. I've been following Chris Avellone (is it?) since his work with Wastelands. I have to say that the original fallout games were all great but they lacked a certain sense of immersion while playing from a top down hex based perspective unlike Fallout 3 and New Vegas which actually put you into the perspective of a character.
Of all the setting they've done thus far I have to say I think the Capital Wasteland has to be for me the most iconic. It's so grim and foreboding out there on the east coast with a hell of a lot of character. Also having recently been to Washington DC I have to say some of the places from it are pretty well depicted for a video game.

MMOs destroy lore, immersion, story and atmosphere. I wouldn't be the only person severely pissed off if they did that. At most I'd like to see 2 player. Couch co-op if possible, but online would be fine...
Think more of a, no level, open world, no rare weapon survival mmo. Like DayZ but with lots of people, random generated encounters and restocking containers and fallout themed.

It would still ruin the story, lore and atmosphere.
Maybe not the immersion so long as they somehow retain decently immersive graphics with hundreds of players with unique inventories and uniquely modeled characters... But do you really want to be immersed into a world without lore, story, or the Fallout atmosphere? I don't.
Look at what they did to the Elder Scrolls with ESO. Hardcore Elder Scrolls fans don't even consider the lore to be canon...
Do I even need to mention how making it an MMO would kill off any chances for the game to have access to the healthy Bethesda modding community?

If there is multiplayer, I hope it's similar to Journey's, although with less frequent player encounters.
