I am able to move my gun left and right faster when I am not aiming than I can when I am aiming down the sights which makes no damn sense.
Realistically it is supposed to be the other way around because when the gun is closer to your body you have a tighter point of radius.
You people understand what I am saying?

You can actually change this in settings. ADS is aim down sights. Just push that up. So unless you have it maxed already this may help.

I understand your logic, but here's mine:
The way I see it, when we aim down the sights we are zeroing in on our target(s) and in order to be able to get pinpoint accuracy our toon (character, merc) slows down.

Eh. I'm pretty sure this is how it works in like every shooter ever. The ADS rotation speed is less to help with precise targeting.

Very true but it really sucks when someone is capable of running out of your line of sight because your character will not move the gun fast enough; when this happens I am forced to stop aiming down the sight and to continue engaging the enemy through hip-fire. |

We all have eyes we can use to help with precise targeting. |

I read that you have your ADS maxed out, so other than getting an FPS Freek (little detachable extension for your analog sticks) there is not much you can do.

They don't make this game for logic like yours anyway OP , not that I'm knocking you because I agree but it's hard when CCP themselves promote " spray and pray " , they really don't want this game to be more about skill then ease .
Look how they dummied down everything in their changes and more " easy mode " is on they way I'm sure .
Op you know as well as I do that people complain when things are not made easy for them , I'm ole school and like to work but now a days it just seem like these gaming Dev's wanna serve easy up on a silver platter in an attempt for extra and added revenue .
It makes it easier for anyone to come right in and dominate , hell it seems that hip firing is better then ADS in this game anyway , it's like dance ... dance , during most matches .
Screw the content .
Doubts are like flies and should be treated as such and crushed .

Are you using the Rail Rifle? They gave it a ads rotation cap so you couldn't just ads in cqc and mitigate the terrible hipfire kick.
Yes, I've had people 80 meters away from me escape because I couldn't track them fast enough. Switched to ARR.
