I've been using it alot lately and Rattattatta was right, it's quite usable.
Anyone else enjoying the asscrambler?

Maybe subconsciously..
truthfully though i haven't used the regular scrambler in a couple days. I'm still not seeing the asscrambler (hehe) on the killfeed much. Its a nice weapon on an amarr commando

Even with lvl 5 proficiency, when the standard assault scrambler rifle gets down to the armor, it's like using wet cotton balls and a sling shot to break through a brick wall. Steer clear of any gallente or amarr suit.
ASCR melts most min assault suits.
If the opponent is armor tanked, I usually take out their shields with my ASCR and let my team do the rest. |

I did for a while and was very pleased but then I used my ACR and remembered why I liked it so much (more effective, better feeling and sounding too)
Don't get me wrong, I love the ScR and AScR in more open maps and they absolutely wreck scouts of all types, but the ACR just works better against heavier ranked suits.

Its great in combo with a breach scrambler pistol. I run it on my std amarr scout.

It would be a great weapon if there was shield and armor parity.
Brick tanks kinda ruin most of DUST's rock paper scissors balance attempts. |

i used to use it when it was AR medium suit ( preferably logi) 514.
i wanted to be different and that was the only other fully auto rifle back then, i also used a scout suit which was even more bizarre.
with more EHP on the field than ever and the damage profile of the scram, changes in proficiency to Armour or shields only i am a little worried about trying it again, but you have inspired me to go back to where it all started.

Well they have lvl 1 asscrambler now so its def inexpensive to use and i burn myself way less than the std scr on commando

I have a fit with it on my Alogi. I run it with a breach smg, core nades and my usual loadout

I run it on my cal scout when I'm hunting my own kind. Good distance & erases shields like they are nothing. It does feel like a standard varient with training wheels.
Have you considered a career in costumed aggression?

It's always been underrated. Mostly bethhy's right, the armor/shield imbalance is the limiting factor, not the weapon itself.

No. I tend to use vanilla variants, except for the Rail Rifle since it's nearly unusable for me. (Have low operation even for ADS) |

It can works well or my amarr logi, There are cases where stripping sheilds is enough
Sometimes I put an uplink in a good spot and I strip the sheilds of a nasty
red that might destroy it, He runs to get his sheilds back but then new people have spawned
and sometimes I get buswhacked by a scout but I strip their shields so others get an easy kill,
It does not "scramblie their asses" nearly as much as a mass driver+luck.

I've always wondered how reducing the damage profiles would effect the game.
Basically, shaving off just 5% from negative and positive profile, bringing every weapon slightly closer to 0... what would we see?
I can't bring myself to use the ASCR with any kind of seriousness... when I get someone to armor... they NEED to go down, like fast.
