It has to be the post kill bunny hop.
I have long felt a resentment towards this, almost to a point of rage inducing, in that I will always cuss the sorry bastard that does it.
I realize others may not be bothered by it. I hate it.
For example: Tonight I was having a pretty good 1v1 gunfight in which neither of us seemed to be able to land that last kill shot, both of us jumping out from cover then letting the shield recharge. It was fun.
Then one of his over zealous teammates jumps into it, fires two shots at me with almost no health, gets the kill and then proceeds to give me the post kill bunny hop. Proud of yourself mate?
I used to see Scouts do it a lot when scouts where still around.
But now it's all suits. Hell, I've even seen Sentinels do it. Great job with that HMG. Have a bunny hop.
Does anyone else hate this infuriating middle finger or am I the only one who notices it?

What is a bunny hop? I know I saw a video on youtube about dancing over the corpse , anyways I just flaylock the dead corpse just for the lol or just empty a full clip

I have examined possible psychology behind the post-kill bunny hop.
At its surface it appears to be a merc pleased with him/her self.
If you look at gun fighting techniques, there are a group of people who frequently jump while shooting and strafing. Being creatures of habit, a post-kill bunny hopper may simply be performing a standard routine.
1. After opening fire, it draws attention to the shooter.
2. The shooter over time may learn to hop after opening fire at about the average response time that it takes an enemy to identify where the shots were fired from, turn to face and take aim, and then open fire on the shooter.
3. This could develop the habit of a regularly timed hop after initially opening fire or entering into a gun fight situation.
In other words, they may not be planning to hop out of satisfaction or even know that they killed you before they hop. It might be a trained response due to fear of being hit as conditioned by many fire fights prior in that merc's history on the battlefield. |

One of the things I got sick of in an old CoD title I played, was having your opponent walk over to your camera (still filming in "corpse mode"), and SQUAT over your body repeatedly.
I think the implication was that "I am pooping on your corpse, loser!"
We don't have a "crouch" posture in Dust that duplicates the weird crouch-position in that CoD game, thank goodness. But if we did, many of these competitive imps would do it to you.
Today, there ARE some "finishing-off" moves that I've noticed we are starting to get a habit for. I myself am guilty of spraying a few more rounds into a fallen red's body, hoping he sees it or that his fellow reds see me do it. (usually because he was particularly annoying with his Cloak--shotty, or if it took us an extra effort to finally defeat a single Proto-On-Steroids player.) But a LITTLE race-hatred and sadistic-contempt is fun and in keeping with the New Eden Race-Wars mindset.
( I just don't want to ever see it become an epidemic where we are all just trying to insult each other with trash-gestures for the sake of "ha-ha-I-got-you" rudeness. That's just too juvenile for me in any kind of game)
