Rattati listens to the forums for feedback on ideas and to get new ideas. He absolutely should listen to the forums. He should also weigh each suggestion against certain things. "Can our team accomplish this in a reasonable amount of time?" is a good example.
deezy dabest wrote:Bandwidth and the new match making are the worst things that have ever happened to this game. The only people I have heard complain about bandwidth are mercs who would open a match in a logi to deploy metric fucktons of equipment everywhere, then swap to an HMG sentinel to go 30/0. Sorry, not sorry.
The logi players I squad with are happy with the change. They see their deployable equipment being used more often and that validates their place on the battlefield.
Matchmaking has not been updated since Rattati came on board. Team building was updated. If you get into a match where the teams felt lopsided, send a screenshot to [email protected] so CCP can determine if something went wrong with the system. This kind of stuff is forever being tweaked and updated.

Dont you mean i cant swap to anything no matter what the situation because i will lose basically everything and i am forced to play that role and only that role for the entire length of the game or my team will suffer as a consequence? "Basically everything" means something different to you than it does to the rest of us.
Also, found the logi tourist! Please cry directly into the bucket.

deezy dabest wrote:What I am complaining about is the amazing lack of uplinks on the field horribly slowing down pace of play. This could also be an issue that is increased by the addition of the cheap flux OBs at the same time. Do you carry uplinks on your fittings? Also, have you ever considered running a logistics dropsuit? Without uplinks on the field you are in a position to make a ton of WP's...
Obligatory: logis need a balancing pass.

deezy dabest wrote:I have done plenty and love the points I get from being the only one dropping uplinks but then comes along mini flux OB spam to ensure they are gone. Why should I be forced to take a several hundred K loss because I am the only one that cares enough to do something as simple as try to keep uplinks alive. Why don't you hide the links under an overhang? Sometimes an overhang isn't nearby, but with the prevalence of indoor maps it's pretty easy to hide an uplink where a minor flux can't hit it. You can run uplinks on an assault or commando fitting; this allows you to provide a few uplinks and still slay when you have to.
deezy dabest wrote:The real issue with bandwidth is it has not been explained at all to people in the game unless they got second hand info from a forumite. It would probably be fine if CCP took a little bit of effort to actually explain this convoluted principle in game to new players and people that only play the game. But hey, it's cool people will figure that out on their own just like they were figuring out how to push X when the big bold message on the screen told them too so they would not die. Oh wait CCP decided people could not do that at the same time they introduced the most over complicated and unnecessary mechanic this game has every seen with no real explanation in game at all. LOL LOGIC LOGIC LOL Now on this point, I'm going to agree with you 100%. There is not a single tutorial on how bandwidth works in-game. There isn't even a piece of the battle UI to show you that you have X of Y bandwidth in use. That, to me, is just lazy.
They should have waited to deploy bandwidth until they had proper UI for it.
