Due to lag I have been one shot by Heavy machine guns all the often. Pop and I am dead, it turns out that heavies are also cloaked too. I want an Assault suit that will survive a drawn out fire fight and yes I am a miser and talking about an Apex suit
I am currently torn between these three
1 Amarr Assault
2 Amarr Logi
3 Gallente Assault
I dont want to get the Minamatar as I already have skills into it

It's best if you get an apex you have skills in so you can get the most out of the suit.
I like to go against the norm. So from the three above which do you guys suggest?

My Scrambler Rifle is level 5 same with scrambler pistol. My armor/reps are 5/4 respectively. I just want to last longer in a gun fight and also have uplinks. I can use my Tiger scout if I need speed. I was veering towards the Amarr Logi as it can be both my Assault and Logi BPO suit, that way I can get 2 suits for the price of one but I dont know if its survivability is that great

Don't be some nerd with 900 armor and 10 reps, you will be hiding more than fighting.

I have no skills into the Amarr dropsuits but how would you rate the Amarr Assault vs the Amarr Logi, using both as slayers
If the difference is not much then I rather get a 2 in 1 Logi + Assault suit

If you want an apex logi go min. If you want an apex assault go Gal. The amarr assault is an awesome suit but I guarantee you will run into issues with the scr overheat and you will be upset. The gal assault is moderately survivable and is much less dependent on it's skill bonus to be effective as opposed to the other suits you mentioned.
The Gal Assault is at the bottom of my list because its just too common a suit but I want to get one BPO per race and it looks like I will have to go with this
