In the latest patch we're going to introduce Bandwidth
every deployable with have a BW value every dropsuit will have a bw capacity varying on suit type and level when changing suits if your deployed exceeds your BW capacity they are destroyed in the order they were put down certain logis get a bonus to bw capacity based on skill level you won't have anything on the HUD showing your current deployed so you need to keep track yourself in addition all deployables have a max carried and max active value irrespective of BW
and btw we're going to put on auto dampener on, because that one time you played for the first time and didn't know to press X (because who would use on screen text anyway), yeah that's too complicated for new players

Believe it or not, some people actually experienced situations in which the inertia dampener gets bugged and prevents us from using it while falling. I lost a few expensive suits this way.

I just want fall damage to be percentage based so I don't ever have to use the inertia dampener if I don't want, it won't kill noobs who don't hit the X, and I won't die from a 5 m fall.

bandwith I'm still on the fence about. I play logi based on immediate need, reps needle ammo. My flanking scout suffers the most when placing BEL links up high. No more O.S. links to fall back on...

These are the same forums that screamed about equipment spam, screamed that bandwidth will be the best thing ever, and now can not figure out why this game is going to hell in a hand basket.
Are you surprised that no one understands the relation you made between a crazy over complicated mechanic that is not explained at all in game and the fact that CCP saw fit to try to make up for players who can not push X when the words on the screen say too? I for one am not.

In other words, a mercenary with Amarr Logistics 3 will be able to pick up an Imperial Logistics ak.0 and wield a BW of 36.

As for the Auto-Inertia Dampener, Rattati hinted that it might be something that could be turned off in the settings in the future...
I would actually like to see 3 options in the settings for that: Auto, Hold for Auto, and Off.
Auto: Like it is currently. Hold for Auto: In certain situations, you might find yourself low on health and falling from a height where you might not activate it in time because of lag. Holding down X will tell the game to turn on Inertia Dampeners as soon as available. If you want to slam into the ground because you know (or think) you will survive, don't hold down X and you stealthily slam into the ground. Off: The way it was before 1.10.
