You would ask the interesting questions, then you'd let them revise the question so they can answer it the way they want too - this takes away from your show, as it turns more into corp advertisement then an interview.
If you ever wanted to make recruitment messages this would be a good way to find material.
And Roman has sent way more then 10 hate mail, way more, to me alone, lol. <3 Even got him to voice me in a pub channel so he can cuss and rage at me, lol.
You're an exception to all rules. Lol. I even mentioned that it the interview.

Thanks for the feedback; I it will keep it in mind. I was just trying to confirm that they understood what I was asking by letting them change the questions into their own words, but not really change what it was asking. Anything else you would suggest I do? I would suggest setting up a format. People will disconnect from your show if all they have to look at is your room. They'll put it to just audio, click to something else, then start multi-tasking if possible. You could avoid all that completely with a simple format like BotG did with showing cams of everyone talking, involving the listener into the people being interviewed. Body language sells in interviews sometimes better then words themselves, and your show is going to lack that, so instead you'll need to find a different element to keep peoples attention. There's also the route of tougher questions - but I'm guessing you want to keep a relationship with the people your reviewing, lol. But you can throw in one or two you know will put the interviewer off guard and we can get a more real and less rehearsed response. If you listen to Roman - that's mostly rehearsed statements we've read from him a hundred times on the forums. Your interview offered 0 new information on him because you kept it safe. The simple solutions is just getting permission to ask the tough questions before hand and adding in small visuals - you'd likely see a drastic improvement in catching peoples attention.
Very true. We talked to him about a bunch of ideas after aswell. It's a great idea with lots of open possibilities. Like doing a weekly show and having players come up with who they want on it and what they want us to discuss. Generate so much interest. The issue would be to stay away from the Rediculous heated topics that would result in children like no neck screaming on comms. Nothing wrong with a debate. But. Screaming is so...I dunno...pre teen

Silver Strike44 wrote:My first interview, this is one being with Roman and Jade of Murphys Law, is now up on Youtube. It can be viewed here. If you take the time to watch it, please give me a bit of feedback. Let me know how I can improve my future videos. Should they be shorter? Longer? Should I ask different questions? If so, what should I ask? Who would you guys be interested in seeing an interview of? Does there need to be gameplay in the background? Things like that. Thanks.
I Definatly think it needs to be in game play. Seeing them play and react and laughing. You coulda did entire interview with me on a tower forge gunning haha. Would also give the community a chance to see themselves in the game for or against.
