But we lost, because our side gave up. They had no reason to stop. We had a slight disadvantage on clones, but more than enough to win.
I made out with over 500k isk, even though we LOST. So I made a tidy profit. My suits were about 40k isk a pop. I was wrecking a lot of proto in that match.
If they only stuck it out and won, they probably would've gotten back a LOT of isk.
I messaged rexero on the other side and told them GG.
It sucks to see a good team give up.
Thats one decent game but how many of thoes do you see? Im guessing its rare these days.

Leaves battle immediately.
Happens way too often these days
Now I wouldn't leave if there was at least one decent squad on my side
And if it's a fair fight I'll gladly drop 1 mil+ in a match and never give up...
But come on Scotty... the match making has been awful lately

They need to make team pubs and then a solo pub where teaming is not allowed. Also they should make match making based on player meta lvl choice. For example ill choose a solo pub but I only want to use basic gear. So it puts me in a match with random people that all have to use basic gear that wont exceed a certain meta lvl total no matter the race.

I remember the Imperfects.
They had the skill to make proto gear actually look terrifying.
Now most players use proto gear to help carry them in battle.
But man were matches against the Imperfects brutal and tactical and not this Proto FOTM spam we have nowadays.

So far I have only left/forfeited single digit matches and usually only when my game crashed or when the whole team gives up / does nothing useful.
Oh and super-epic-squad-proto-stomp is quite hurting my feelings :P
A few more match modes would actually help.
squad mode, have a squad with 4 merc and then you are put together with other (4 and 8 man) squads and then pit against other teams of that structure.
Infantry only.
Low tier gear so people can be stomped slightly less.
No squad mode.
Just some ideas. |

why would you try? with no diferences in payouts whether you win/lose kill or die in public matches why try? does the victory screen mean anything? PC and FW make sense you win you get a better reward if your trying in pub matches your doing it wrong.

TRY => potentially more WP => more SP and Aurum bar increase

Why have pub matches if not to try and win. Should I just sit in the red line racing jeeps around our spawn base?

I suggest blowing yourself up 20 times in a match and see for yourself you'll make with 80% of the try hard who loses still and gets mad at blowing a million in isk. Pub matches are for scrubs it's just an ISK and sp faucet
