Cue the HYPE! I've been looking forward to this so much. The tipping point for buying my PS4 was me knowing Planetside would eventually be on it, so needless to say, I'm pretty pumped about it. Its gonna be so awesome on PS4. Much better than PC, IMO.
Unpopular opinion, but I prefer controllers to mkb. And I find solace in the more level playing field that console games provide in terms of hardware. So while I love the idea of Planet side, and find it to be a great game, I just can't bring myself to play it on PC.
P.S. I have a good chance at getting multiple beta invites. If I get a lot, I'll be handing them out to whoever didn't sign up, or were unlucky enough to not get invited.

Just applied again on this account and also on another PSN, hope I do, if not I hope I can count on you for a code I was in closed beta on PC so really, they should give me a code. Yeh I didnt play PS2 much because of M+K/B, this has been a verrrrry long time coming but will be worth it, they'd better lessen the grind though, very P2W on PC. you thought DUST's grind was long! Don't worry. They haven't sent the invites yet. They're sending them on the 20th, so you could still get a code. If you don't, I'll try and get you one though.

I only used 3 emails. I can only hope to get 1 code, but if I do get more than that, I want them to go to Dust Players, who are the kind of players that will actually appreciate Planetside, not some CoDkiddy that'll drop it after 2 weeks.

I'll give you fair warning not to expect a lot of organization. Most of the design changes they've made to the game over the past 2 years have been attempts at "herding cats" that were only so successful. Basically, if you want to just jump in and out and take it more casually, you'll love it. If you expect a lot of well-coordinated warfare with well choreographed tactics, you're going to be as disappointed as I was and continue to be. I'm not really expecting that. I'll let the platoon sized organization happen naturally, so it just happens when it happens.
Im really just looking more towards squad scale organization. Basically a squad and myself just going where we are needed. Probably just run solo most of the time though. It would be a little to difficult to organize a Scythe squadron all the time.
Although you never know... This game is bound to get a lot of exMAG vets. So there might be some real organization going on for awhile.

I'm fine with a Zerg fest, really. I enjoy a truly player driven game as much as I enjoy enjoy a tactical game.
It might not end up being as awesome and tactical as MAG(let's face, nothing ever will be that awsome though), but one of the things I looked about MAG was feeling like you are a small part of something big. Planetside has that in spades.
I mean, rushing a base along with 40-50 other players is just as fun to me as tactically infiltrating one to destroy installations with 8-12.
