1. They do, at least now and in the long run. Why? Because they want to become OP like dropsuits.
2. It would make battles between vehicles and AV more balanced, since both parties will have similar HP and DPS values.
3. It would make vehicles OP like dropsuits.

You say this as if there's more than 10 Pilots in this game who aren't complete scrublords. But given how you die to JLAVs on a regular basis I don't think your qualified to make such a generalization in the first place.
