I'm sorry but I have to call horse sh*t, the missions connecting what little and I mean little of what story there is are so repetitive that just about thousands of people famously quote " I don't have time to explain why I don't have time explain" which is such a lead to hey! Buy our f*cking DLC you dumb prick. The only thing that kept me playing past a week was the dang scout rifle and that's because it was the closest thing to a Scr I could get. Honestly bro if you want a review of Destiny that gives it justice just look at angry Joe's rant. I'm such a shamed that I bought the game digitally that I vowed never to do so again in my gaming life as a self respecting human being.....buuut it suuure is pretty though :D.

Which is why I got it used for $30 from amazon. Hell I even rented it beforehand and I have yet to buy the DLC for a myriad of reasons. Fact of the matter is that it IS generic space opera albeit a very shallow one. It's your run of the mill "Forces of light battle the forces of dark IN SPACE!" schtick. I agree the storyline is **, but I can think of only a handful of MMO's that have a decent truly coherent storyline. Hell vanilla WoW back in the day had jack diddly for story despite having 3 games and a shitload of multimedia to back it up. Hype train's fail, that's just how it is. Remember Daikatana? John Romero was supposed to make us his *** with that one. Titanfall is a pile of donkey dung despite being hyped. I'm not saying Destiny is great, but i've seen worse train wrecks in my gaming career. However it is pretty and the gameplay handles well.
