As I was spawning in on a militia uplink, I had plenty of time to think a bought how maybe drop uplinks could get staggered war point rewards like needles do. Possibly something like: 15 for milita team spawn, 25 for standard, 35 for advanced and 50 for proto spawn. I think it would encourage the use of more advanced gear. Sorry if this has already been discussed. I should get back to the game now I should be spawing in any time now........anytime now

Was just tossing numbers out there to get the idea established. Having the links colored different shades would help be a visual que as well. Green, blue, red to indicate different lvls

That's what I'm afraid of. I think there is hope though as stagger wp rewards already exist for equipment implementing them across multiple types of equipment isn't out of the realm of possibility. I think I could even be applied to nanohives as well.

Good point John, all logis get a bonus though to their respective equipment of expertise so that kinda works its self out.(sorry gallogi) I don't think its go proto or go home I view it as want war points? Run good gear AND run with a squad so you don't die and lose it. Risk vs reward its a concept that has deep roots. And any bonus that a piece of EQ would get from its respective logi is just that, a bonus doesn't mean that a proto nanohive isn't going to be useful no matter who drops it or that a proto link isn't gonna get you in RIGHT NOW before they can hack the point back. I do appreciate the other side of the coin input though.
