The thing is that when you leave a bunch of people who all agree in a state of thinking for too long you tend to get radicalism. Radicalism is bad for game balancing. Why? What if all the heavies tomorrow decided that they needed an HMG buff? What if everyone who isn't a heavy decided to not interfere because they are not heavies? You would soon see a lot of threads asking for buffs to the HMG and examples and arguments as to why that is true.
You would have few people within the heavy community countering the claim.
Plus AV and Vehicles are too sides of the same coin. They must be balanced and it is up to the community as a whole to balance them.

There is no need to flame others. Just because the moderators are away it does not excuse you from taking up logical stances.

No, it's people like you pushing us further away from balance, people that irrationally hate and fear vehicles believing with all their heart that they have a say in how vehicles should operate, how they should be fit, how easy they should be taken out, how much HP they should have, how fast they can operate, how much damage they can do, etc. Bugger off already.
So basically you believe that only pilots should have a say in vehicle operations? Do I really need to remind you as to why that is a terrible idea? I have explained perfectly as to why having people who agree speak in a bubble is terrible.
It's the reason we ended up with powerful scouts. Scouts decided what they wanted and submitted it to CCP. Nobody who protested was taken seriously because they were labeled as scout haters. Next thing you know Scouts started running a muck. Rattati then clamped down on them and isn't done yet. He will soon penalize them for movement and practically make it impossible for them to use HP mods effectively. In short he will send them back to the dark ages.
Also, I believe vehicles are an important part of the game.
