Actually i do not agree. Tanks were OP like hell and core of battles (infantry) was punished BIGTIME that time. But i start small inner brainstorm and i found solution.
Honestly where i found tanks and other vehicles fun to play, yup it was in battlefield (i thing it was that awesome DLC Vietnam for BC2). Where it was actually fun to hunt tanks and other vehicles. Issue is, there is many actually to many ways to make armors (tanks) or clowncars (LAVs) too OP and thats reason why i feel they need big redesign. Only by redesign of vehicles we can balance weapons against them (what will instantly stop any other OPQQ).
I understand tanks should be a chalange to take down (armor/shield/vehicle + assets put in that), but the chalenge should be direcly in balance with possibilities of infantry.
Do not get me wrong, i do not agree with possibility to take down tank with officer/proto assets in that by mlt. guy. But there should not be a problem to take it down by group of mlt. guys cooperate together.
Whole issue is CCP need to balance properly core of tanks/lavs, later they must balance skills of it and later modules and assets. Whats mean only more time/money.
There can be actually loop and it is make another kind of mode, what will use them but it is another time and another mode for need.
Honestly right now tanks feel wierd and i do not like tanks (mostly playing like supportive roles logi/sentinel), but that feel is there.
Tanks should be monsters, but even monsters should be taken down. Issue is balance and how we know (after whole that time here) CCP needs some time with these.
p.s.:I did not talk DS because without countermessures (jets/AAA/others) i see their role only like flying taxis in game and i do not want disbalance (due they can fly) through make them OP like it was before ergo they are fine right now.
