Im seriously considering making a shotgun Galmando suit...but I want that minmando so badly... decisions decisions...

Gallente Commando: Devastating at CQC with BrARs and ARs
Caldari Commando: Great for picking off enemies at long ranges
Minmatar Commando: Devastating at CQC and great to shoot down masses of enemies with their Mass Drivers (can be suicidal with MD at close range also) great AV unit.
Amarr Commando: Perfect for long range crowd control with their Laser Rifles and devastating with their charhed Scrambler Rifle shot.
A squadd of Commandos can be devastating if they all played with the weapons that get the bonuses for each suit.
Just the other day I saw an Amarr and Gallente Commando with Rail Rifles and shot guns. Slow, big target, crap EWAR and regeneration. Easiest kills I have made in a while.

Cuz they don't know what they are doing. I run the aSCR on my commando + Freedom massdriver. I blow their shields off deep into armor and then blow them away with the md. I run either fast fit or tank fit, but I run wyrikomi triage nanohives. That's 70hp/second reps to get back to the fight anytime I feel like it. (I can also use them in the fight, but they are prone to fluxing then).

Speed is your friend in CQC and trust me on this one:
A shotgun on a Gallente Commando is not that great, AR/PLC combo is the best there is.
Although, If you want to use the shogun as a secondary that's fine, I just find the PLC a much better choice.
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.
