We all know that the scrambler rifle is the goto weapon for amarr assault; however, I have had some decent matches running amarr assault with the burstAR. Its nice not worrying about overheating & with a clip size of 70! What do you run on your Amarr Assault?

I run a Viziam ScR backed up by a Prototype Breach SMG. Sadly I never get to use that SMG.

I run the ASCR and I would run it on my Caldari Assault two if I didn't have to worry about over heat on that weapon :/

Combat rifles work best on Minmatar assaults because the Minmatar assault gets a bonus to projectilve weapon magazine size. If you're going to use a CR, it's best to do so on a Minmatar assault, or a Minmatar commando (they get a damage bonus to projectile damage).
If you want to use an AR on an Amarr assault, that's fine, though I think it's a waste of a bonus. I would suggest using any AR or its variants on a Gallente assault for the bonus, but its frankly unnoticeable. There's always a Gallente commando though, which gives bonuses to the hybrid-blaste/plasma weapons like the AR.
Personally, I use SCRs on my Amarr assault. I use CRs on my Minmatar assaults. On suits without weapon bonuses, I use whatever weapon.

I have, however, tested the OP mode ... AK.0 Assault + Breach + Proto scanner....

No lol that's impossible I only have 4 low slots on my ADV amarr.....You might mean proto, and if you do thats still an Incomplete fitting

You'll find that the tacAR doesn't perform like the ScR. You guys complain about overheat, but I'll take overheat over misfires, shotty hit detection, and that horrible Tac sight. The burst AR is better.

Only reason to use the Amarr Assault, is for the bonus, in my opinion. I always match up my fits racially. Doing otherwise would feel wrong and without class. |

I ran the brstAR all day with my Amarr Assault & it performed great. Took out heavies with some effort, but it was great not worrying about overheating! & is it just me or does it feel more accurate than the tacAR, both from the hip & ads?!

but kept the AR skilled
