Since starting to give away districts, it brings me great joy to say we've been able to bring some new faces (and some old ones too) onto the starmap, and it's great to see a bunch of corps in progress, trying to become competitive again.
Corps given districts so far:
1. Eternal Beings 2. Planet Express 3. Skill of God 4. 1.U.P 5. Fantasma Mexicanos 6. Rebellion TLC 7. Corp Six King 8. Senshi Slayers 9. Yamah 10. Red* 11. X-treme Stars 12. Ancient Exiles
Most of these corps will be looking to set up battles for training etc, so if you're looking to get some good practice/training battles going without any hostilities attached a lot of these corps are a good option.
If you are eager to get on the starmap as well please contact myself or Kardia, we still have a couple districts that we would like to use bringing corps onto the map who don't already have one.
As always, ''We, of course, wouldn't ask any compensation for providing any support needed in helping a corp get into the swing of routine PC battles. In the spirit of bringing many more corps into the PC experience, we think now is one of the best times for inexperienced corps to start breaking in, given the lack of any real take-overs in MH or dominant bullys in place, as well as with the desire from all the regular PC corps to see more fresh faces on the field. So to reiterate, more so than just offering a free district, we would also like to offer support through the entire process of building a PC corp/roster. Whether this means providing partial teams/filling in blanks, providing maps/strategies, teaching players to FC etc, we can help.''

Her Chosen wrote:I can understand good advice. But when did MH become the t-ball league? PC is great, and everything about is nonsensical at the same time, but why so much playing nicey nice? It's a way of reviving peoples motivation. We've seen plenty of times what happens to MH without people actively bringing people in. Essentially we're trying to force the community into PC whether they like it or not lol.
Theres been some attempts at putting mass new corps on the map before, but they were substantially unable to make much impact, or were really just working the meta game as they hoarded more to themselves, so we figured we'd give it the old college try, and it's been working out pretty well there's actually a lot more people hungry to enter the starmap than we expected.
The problem has been for a long time that you cannot make a new corp and have a hope in hell of becoming strong in PC anymmore, you either have the in-game rep to bring a bunch of good players with you, or you get squished out by said good players. Our hope is that by helping a lot of corps through those incredibly tough initial stages, they will have a platform to grow from, allowing players a choice of more than 5 corps to go to if they want to win any battles.

More corps means more fights and more diversity. It is not some carebear crap, people just want PC to be more alive and allow small corps to get in without losing their district in 5 seconds. I talked to some people yesterday and hopefully they see this thread because they were all suspicious of me thinking I was going to scam them or some crap. Strange, there's really no risk on the end of the receiving corp lol... though I suppose you could pull an FA, and give away districts to weak corps just to turn around and take them back. Either way feel free to direct them here or have them message me, I will be glad to put their concerns at ease.

I talked to some people yesterday and hopefully they see this thread because they were all suspicious of me thinking I was going to scam them or some crap. The quanity of corps isn't totally a bad thing. Its nice to finally break away from the "Big 3" concept. But what good does haveing 20 corps in MH that can't fielad a team, and when they could, can't compete.
The top tier corps would still be playing other top tier corps, and still seeing the same names on the other side of the warbarge. Nothing changes. If people mash up against the new corps, they'll crush the noobs, and the noobs will not like being farmed for ISK. A few corps (mine is an example of this) have been to MH and don't want to go back, because it's still stale. Same, same, same, same, lag, same, same, same.. What good does NOT putting corps on the map do in terms of solving you're 'big 3' problem? There is no real training for PCs except PCs. pubs are garbage training, FWs are almost worse, and until I see corp battles re-implemented there's no other option. Building a competent PC team is a process. Currently it is a process that a new corp cannot overcome. At least with a decent % of MH being taken by hungry small corps they will train eachother to be better. Not all of them will succeed, not all of them will retain the members to field a full team, and not all of them will keep playing Dust, My hope is to put some kind of ladder down for those who WANT it, and that at least some of the corps trying to come up are met with some success.

You can message me in game and we'll discuss it further, I would like to see that you can be active enough to fill the majority of a team any time. 9 players is pushing it, especially if they're not all on, but we'll talk about that later.
