Hope to sqaud up with soon and have some fun.Heck I might have to buy a few different blueprints. |

It's basic equipment. It's not better. |

You do get more high, low and equipment slots depending on the suit along with more Cpu and pg to fit more /better equipment, shields, reaper etc.. This can and does give you an edge and thus helps your sqaud. I was curious about the suit bonuses, I thought blueprints did not receive the dropsuit /race bonuses which would reduce the advantage of using a fitting that was free but at a cost of the lack of a bonus. Is a higher tier suit better,of course it is, but you have to be skilled in all of the other areas to take full advantage of the fitting. |

Yes however as this is standard gear the benefit is minimal but still better than not having the bonus. I love this suit and have even based some proto fits on it.

The apex suits have the same slot layout as their equivalent proto version BBBUUUTTTT!!!!! these apex suits are pre-fitted. This means that you CANNOT!!! change the equipment it comes with. A second thing is that the equipment the suit comes with are all at the basic level. So if it comes with a shield module that module is the same as the basic shield you buy at the market. So it is better than militia but equal to the basic level equipment in the market. Any skill you have skilled in also affects the apex suit and all racial bonus apply AS LONG AS you have skilled into them. So, if you want full dampening for the scout then you need to skill in the profile dampening skill.
Are these suits a good purchase? Meh I don't think they are great and they are very expensive. For example I would like to have the minmatar scout apex suit but if I wanted to buy it wthout using aurum would have to fight and win about 100 minmatar factional. That will take forever and thus the reason I haven't done it. That means that every time I die in a factional it is money wasted. On top of that the suit cost 10,000,000 isk. I figure that it would take me an additional 100 fights to get a return on my investment. SO, 200 battles is what would need to break even. My wife has a basic minmatar scout suit that cost about 10,000 isk. It only has basic equipment but, it does the job. I was using it the past few days and I made money on every single battle. Sure maybe not a whole lot but money never the less assuming a pay uot of at least 120,000 isk a battle then I can easily die 12 times and still break even.
My advice is that you find the google docs int he forums that tell you exactly what each suit comes with and see if it is worth the investment. I think that if you are going to pay with aurum you might consider a different bpo suit which at the very least allows you to put whatever equipment you want on it. |

Thank you for the advise, I'm looking at the LP store proto blueprint shamans logi.I did not notice if it was prefitted with equipment, I just looked at the slot layout, Cpu, pg. |

Yeah, they really need to list the fitting on the APEX suites in-game, and be VERY clear they can't be modified. (It's stated in the description, but easily missed)
You can find the fittings on each suite here (This is the master document, but I know for a fact some suites are fitted differently... But that should get fixed according to CCP Rattati, if they have not done it already)
If you want to be 100% sure what you get, ask somebody on the forums which have the suite to list the fitting)
