I've used it for a week and still haven't been able to scan anything, not even tanks right in front of me. Replace it with a nanohive or remote explosives, would be much better.

Proud Caldari purist . Rank 10 colonel omiwarrior. I fought and bled for the State on Caldari prime.

Basic scanners have no place on the battlefield. This is exactly why I have not bought an apex suit yet. I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.

An unskilled medium suit with no dampner modules will not be scanned by a standard scanner. Therefore they provide minimal to no tactical advantage. STD rarely gets the job done.

NOT "Kill Saver Suits" You can't buy an ISK saver, and then complain because it is built only to save you ISK. The purpose of an ISK saver, is to allow you to build your bank up so you can buy your own Proto suits and fit them as you please. Also, the mere fact that these ISK Savers are PROTO level? That's a far cry above the Militia suits that everyone else has. jane stalin Ametat Security Amarr Empire 79	Posted - 2015.01.03 09:34:00 - [30] - Quote I have used the hawk, It does scan some things successfully if you are playing a pc match with some enemy derps, If you are playing proto stompers or fw you will get a lot of "largre margin of error results" You should not use it if you are interested in warpoints or helping your team win, however if you are having a one sided contest you can use it to fight boredom, It is not nearly as useful as my Amarr logi bpo or as fun as the min scout bpo.
