Maybe you just haven't found a playstyle that suits you? What do you usually run and how do you run it? Are you the covert ops style player, do you prefer to hold your ground or move when the situation gets bad, or are you just that crazy guy every team has that constantly runs into the middle of the enemy team screaming at the top of his lungs?

That's... probably your problem. XD Dust isn't the best game to be a reckless crazy, though it can be fun at times, judging by your posts, you're not enjoying it all that much. Try being a bit more conservative in your playstyle, don't rush in as much and survey the scene before moving up. No gear, no matter how good, is going to protect you from three or four people whom you blunder upon while they're having their morning tea.

Perhaps you should join a corp, having other players you enjoy playing with is actually the most performance enhancing u can do in dust
