From a dedicated AV perspective:
What you describe is why I specced forge gun and never looked back.
Except for gunnlogis, vehicle spam allows me to maintain my fireball farm and rake in WP. There is nothing sweeter to a dedicated AV nerd than tanks and dropships all over the field, and the tears are sweeter than the best of aged wines.
Just accept that you are only going to be able to yo-yo gunnlogis unless there are three of you.
But a sentinel suit loaded and locked with a forge gun is a magical thing. Patience, viciousness and a willingness to fight dirty mark successful AV gunners. Skip swarms, forge guns, when skilled up are much more efficient.
