It is simply a survey to gather information about all those willing to make a DUST-oriented community in Planetside 2. I am also aware this could have been posted in the locker room, but I wish to gain the attention of DUST's biggest sub-forum. If you do not wish to participate, you don't have to! I've spoken with several other corp leaders and old vets of DUST, and we've come to an agreement that there needs to be a DUST community Planetside 2 outfit. The reason for this is there is a great amount of skilled players in DUST 514, as well as those that have moved on to PS4. It would simply be better for all of us to migrate to one bigger outfit in Planetside 2. The name has still been undecided, but some names were more preferred than others. I will create a straw poll using the most recommended names for the game, and will also take requests for new ones and make another one at a later date. If you would be interested in joining a DUST-oriented community in hopes of playing PS2 competitively, please /sign this thread. Only loyal to the republic. In DUST, an alliance is broken into three parts: The alliance, the corporations within the alliance and the squads within those corporations. In an outfit, there are platoons within the outfit, and then there are squads. Players will still, of course, play with who they know within the alliance, and also get a chance to create even new friendships with characters on DUST they may have not known well, or not known at all. The NC are popular because they are the rebel faction. People are always a sucker for the underdogs. VS because it seems to be the most advanced or "enlightened". I think a reason the Terran Republic is often kind of referred to as the communists of planetside. I think a lot of players will be new and will choose a faction that they think is "the coolest", considering that this is aimed at a console demographic.
