http://dust.thang.dk/market_historycategory.php http://dust.thang.dk/market_tryhardinator.php * http://dust.thang.dk/market_stompometer.php * http://dust.thang.dk/market/test.html
*: Will only stay valid for 6-10 days.
Disclaimer: Weapons, suits, vehicles and equipment added after The Rouge Wedding will not be counted, due to not updating SDE. |

Updated, and split out some data into a 2nd chart: http://dust.thang.dk/market/Market_Overall.html Removed data predating Public Release (Open Beta data) Moved to Google's "Material Design" chart-type.
1 - Sales volume in ISK and Items, since release Showing specifically how much ISK has been spent on regular (non-LP) items - doesn't include things like Clone-packs (I think).
2 - Sales activity in number of orders, and average cost of items, since release The number of orders placed by players, with 1 order being for a single type, but any quantity. Average cost reflects tendency to buy higher-rated items ("Protostomping") |

Thanks for the nice words, likes and support, everybody.
Just a reminder that the data excludes AURum sales (naturally), and is also missing LP sales (buuh). There are technical issues on CCP's side for the LP-store omission, notably that the LP stores aren't actually part of the EVE:Online markets, but I'm not hearing any (technical) reason for why this data-set couldn't be available through a separate channel. To this end, I sent Rattati a reminder, and would ask all of you to chime in: https://twitter.com/GNious/status/601022849353011201
Separately, it would be good to have actual data on spawned-in and destroyed gear, optionally as part of an online "kill-feed", so the community could build up more statistics and stuff without having to wait for Rattati to manually pull data. Don't be afraid of reminding Rattati, Frame and Rouge of this |

Concerned about the sudden drop in Commando sales shown here: http://dust.thang.dk/market_historycategory.php
Is it possible that there's a fluke in this report?

o7 Adipem,
It is indeed possible that the data is incomplete. The way the import process is set up, data is imported redundently over last 3 data-points, to avoid this kind of effect, so I'm thinking it is not that part, where the issue resides. The aggregation process is built to run across all TypeIDs, meaning it is implausible that that process fails for a limited set of TypeIDs. This means, I'm leaning towards there may be an issue in generating the market-data on CCP's side ... or even data missing due to changes at CCP, but I'm not seeing any recent posts from CCP FoxFour or CCP Frame here indicating that the Market Data CREST endpoints have changed.
What I can do is, to change the redundant importer to include e.g. 30 last data-points, since that should cover 30+ calendar days, and then re-run the importer for tomorrow. Can also extend the lookup beyond the 13 known regions with DUST bunnies in them; again, not seen anything from CCP indicating that bunnies are being spread beyond these, but.... Can recalculate the aggregation of data-points - this is simple enough, just thinking we should see more data-points being effed up.
Would be good if Foxy or Frame could provide a review of the data-generation on their end, possibly manually extracted data to compare to the data in the CREST endpoint. |

If anyone is actually using this, just a "heads up": Database is undergoing some maintenance, which includes re-import of old data CCP. This will take a while, doing around 400 read+writes per ca 1700 TypeIDs per 13-or-so Regions ....
Reason: It appears there are cases when the absolutely most-recent data in the particular CREST end-point is bad - reimporting this data at a later point results in getting correct data. |
