a reason to keep playing DUST it would be this:
NO PVP MODE IN SKYLANDERS TRAP TEAM!
The whole reason I got the PS3 was to get Skylanders for my kids. The only reason I play it with my kids is for the PVP arena mode.
Perfect thing to do when the PSN is effed up.
I get the new Trap Team set for them this Chrstmas and what do you know!
Is DUST working again?

I was doing some research the other day because one of my nephews is on a Skylanders kick, and I found that the -Entry Level- price range to get all in game content is like $213. And if you want to truly 100% the game, you need to buy the rest of the set and basically double the price.
Not to mention there are areas that are currently blocked off and you won't have any access to it at all because they haven't started selling those specific accessories yet.
It's like the physical manifestation of facebook game microtransactions.
Yeah, but when you have a sweet little 6 and 8 year old who know how to play the cutness could you say no on Christmas?

It is the only way I can tolerate playing LBP (PVP this way is way more fun that you might think at first).

Btw, the replay value is immense! It is a very good investment and you don't need to buy all the figures et al. Also, future collectibility is a plus.
