Is it intended? It feels wrong having to pay 7k ISK for it just because it has less PG/CPU consumption than the militia variant...

I don't even see a Specialist Flaylock in the Loyalty Store, only a Republic Core Flaylock. Where did you find it?

My bad, I saw Specialist and checked the Loyalty Store, where most Specialist weapons come from.
Just checked the regular market. Are you talking about the GN-20 Specialist Flaylock?

I only say this because the Specialist Swarms from the regular store have a longer lock as a 'downside' to the lower fitting costs. Perhaps the smaller clip is the GN-20's trade off?
Bummer, I'd rather have less total ammo for it than a smaller clip.

It has less Ammo AND a smaller clip. It works, the lowered fitting cost is a fair trade for the clip, smaller clip means you get less ammo as well. It's for those who are resourcefull.
