But would smoke grenades be useful? You, the radar... Have it scramble radar too
Make it both drop your scan profile, and act as a huge antenna for any suits in it at the same time, increasing your pricision.
So, if you are inside the cloud...
Your scan profile is dropped by 75%, making you harder to scan. Your scan precision is increased by 50%, increasing your ability to scan.
Or something like that...

smoke grenade would be chaff that blurs and distorts your sensors and glitchs. like a jammer.
if not adding a jammer as equipment.
I don't think it should be EMP based. That's what the flux is. Our suit's optics have already been proven to resist the effects of EMP, somehow.
It should be light based. A ******* lot of light. Like a stupid amount of light. So much light, in fact, that it burns the sensors out of any suit that happens to be looking at it. Just burns them right out. The target will just get hit with an error screen that says something along the lines of "visual feed lost" or "optical sensors disabled".
Maybe a 15m area of effect, with the length of blindness tapering off from the center. 3 seconds of blindness at the epicenter, and if you happen to be at the 15m point, you'll only get like 0.15 seconds of it.
Of course, the built in nanites that every suit now has will prioritize fixing the optics, which would explain how the optics are being fixed.
And of course, there would be the issue of damage. I think they should do damage. Laser Profile damage. Not much, just enough to scare someone or destroy some equipment. Like 100-150 damage. Not even a huge area of effect for the damage either. Like 2-3m. The damage would be an overall secondary thing. Something to allow limited anti equipment capabilities, or soften up a target a little bit while they are blind.
