Hmgs will be nerfed to the ground. As a heavy since chromosome I'll stay heavy but I'll probably be crying the whole time.

The heavy has everything now. CQC, HP, Range, Damage & a logi repper stuck to your ass, and scout buddies to scan. How can this suit not be OP? It wud have been normal if they didnt nerf the scouts. We told this, but CCP hears only cry babies -_-
Can i get a tag like the DEVs?

All that people need to do so that their stuff doesn't get nerfed to the ground is admit that their item might be OP and figure ways to remedy why it's OP. Or you could sit there, refuse to admit that it's too powerful, and watch it become the post nerf flaylock for a few months.

First off range NO after 30m hmgs cant hit **** unless you get lucky or shot at it fir awhile aka your own damn fault. Second logi repper? I run cal heavy no rep for me point invalid also since that is teamwork. Third scans? Wait seriously scans from scouts that everyone gets. And not to mention you can see a heavy on any suit with no precision enhancers aka your own damn fault. Now for damage and range part. Damage is fine since its a "heavy weapon" the only part that should be fixed is..... aim assist. One big reticle to get close to a suit and bam auto aim takes over. Hp is fine since it can't run unless you gimp the suut.

It has been proven that variable rotation speeds just do not work.
My how I do NOT miss the days of scouts sprinting straight past heavies and shooting them in the back. |

That doesn't change anything, the rest of the heavy community is debating in feedback/discussion. If you want a nerf on your terms as a heavy you should head over and help with your ideas/opinions(if you have any), or don't, whatever.

I don't think that heavys are op, they're not, but people make them so,both users and those who face them. I always see people taking on heavys in cqc face on, on the other hand a heavy that knows how to work with the team is a powerful presence on the battlefield that yet still can be countered. Long range engagements and REs are heavy's worst nightmare, people just don't think rationally, you complain about this logi following his big buddy around, then take him down, something that has rarely over 500 hp should not be a problem.Now that the moaning about OP scouts ended, and the OP tanks before it, people started to get smashed by heavys so now they are OP. You can not nerf someones mind, people don't understand that a decent player would be able to stump'em with militia gear

Mad Kras is right. The mind is the most diverse thing you got. You don't need to be as predictable as AI, you can think and turn a simple engagement into a long well thought out battle too.
For example, to counter a murder taxi you can do two things: -AV nades (strong ones... Not basic packed) -Or, use the brand new cover the heavy brought in; the LAV!
I've gone toe to toe against a heavy with a LASER rifle (we all know below 60m its weak, but imagine at 5m) and a smg. Both militia. Used the laser to get shields out. Switched to the smg and started running circles around the car. He hops back in and starts backing up so i back up so my laser can be more effective. He jumps out and my laser is already 25 rounds in so i had good dps (but with only 35 rounds till O.H i had to worry about being vulnerable for a few seconds.). He closed the gap again and it was back to circling the car till i died.
^ the mind at work. Unpredictable, diverse, adept. We can work with what we have people. Work smart, not hard if you don't have to. I still died yes, but i made it hard and had a chance to win the engagement. |

HMG range is much more than 30m. I've been killed (and I'm talking about almost instapop here) by HMG from over 40-45m many times. The damages are TWICE the damages of a proto rifle at basic lvl!!! How can you say this is balance? It's not because it's a heavy weapon that it must be so godly powerful. It needs a damage and range nerf, and its heat build up back to pre 1.10.2.

first of all those times you fied over 40m the heavy was probably shooting for quite some time crouched and ads trying to kill you.

HMG = High dps cqc crowd control weapon, whats the point of having a HMG with the same dps of an AR? Should we also nerf the Large Railgun Turret cuz it deals 1200 dmg while the small one just 200? Complaining about HMGs being OP in their optimal range is like complaining about sniper rifles killing you in open field from 200m away. Every weapon excells in what it was ment for plus 7/10 heavys are brainwashed brutes convinced that they're God and charge head on everything that's red.Easy Kill.

you don't throw your car radio out the window, you change station.
