Pretty much ... useles.
Two categories:
1. thales
2. rest
Ad.1 - you can buy one even for 1kk ISK... and you dont loose it often so you fixed. You use it for long time.. but you sell low ammount -> low profit
Ad. 2 - you loos it very often so no one will use it always... this means noone will buy it with overpriced price tag in bulk. So no profit.
Not much time left...

I'm not willing to pay more than 500k. Reason being that I can pimp out a tank and most likely have more kills with a longer survival rate. Plus only PC needs officer weapons even then only a fraction of the matches calling for officer gear.
Can I haz ur ISK?

depends ont he type(s) a thale would fetch more because they're rarely lost. the 'old' officer weapons liek balac, krin, cala ect are fairly common. most have 100 of several types so wouldn't fetch much. the newer officer ones would probs fetch more as they're not only slightly better performance but also scarcer drop rates now (3 not 10 like the old days)

Officer's are overrated. The performance vs. Rarity is meh.
I'd rather they be in the Market for like double proto costs or something.
I hardly use them.
I don't hold anything in this game that I cant replace with isk in high regard. I just let it sit in inventory.
I do however, have an extra Exile assault rifle BPO.
And some classic Skinweave bpos.

Nothing. The isk flood we currently have will turn the free market into a freak show.
Can you imagine how many more Thale users sitting next to depots and calling Gunnlogis to save there precious officer weapons we will see once they actually have a value?

No one cares if you would sell your officer weapon for 1mil ISK. would you buy one for 1mil ISK is the real question. You can say you are willing to sell at one mil but if there is no one willing to buy at one mil whats the point.

1 isk.
Roughly, 3 more officers are generated for every 1 officer you take from someone else.
They have no value. Rarity and performance be damned.
They are an uncontrollable substance.
I'm not putting down money for something I retain no control over.
Now, if CCP awarded the winners of the officer weapons event, a BPO copy of their specific weapon. That is something that would have value to me. Value into the billions of isk even. Value so high its almost priceless. Value so high, people would pay hundreds of real life dollars for it maybe.

In Dust, value comes from BPOs. Value comes from permanence.
Even CCP recognizes this. Look at the price of BPO items vs. other aurum items. Why is that? Because permanence is true value. Fk consumable officer weapons.
EDIT: @OP. If you have hundreds of OFC weaps, just use them and have fun with them. They are good for little else. imho. Or you can hang on to them, and see if peeps later on actually decide to trade the things for isk.
They reproduce themselves. Over time the value of any officer weapon will be reduced as its used. Trading BPOs is where the big money will be at if CCP allows it.

I mean, who knows how long they'll sit here before I can sell them. I can't take a risk and but them for too much.

As for 'selling', I would rather do a direct trade of the weapons I have now for the weapons I want instead of selling for useless isk, 10 weapons i want for 1 thales though. Maybe 5 officer weapons for each forge gun/hmg |
