Now i haven't touched the game or forums at all in many months. I was half expecting to get a "web page unavailable" eroor when loading the forums but it seems that is not the case. My question is though why do you guys keep playing this? What keeps you so interested in it?

The game has changed a lot lately, with Daily Missions, new EWAR mechanics, new Equipment Bandwidth mecanics, new Maps and moods etc. (and a shitload of encrypted boxes... ) Yes, the core is the same (only Ambush, Skirmish and Domination), but they have made some improvements regarding perfomance, although not as big step as people hoped. Although, don't listen to me (or anybody else for that matter), just try it out yourself.

It is the same 3 modes and recycled maps with some new ones. There as been some balance changes to some things and changing of some mechanics like scanning, but that's really about it. Although they did add very grindy ranking system and challenges; they are forms of monetization also. If you didn't like it before you probably won't still like it now.

I feel there's been some nice improvements as of late. Seems like CCP is putting in work to improve the game, which is soooo nice. And of course I try to resist the habit of focusing on what's wrong w/things, and instead try to focus on what is right or good.
