I finally figured out the contract generation for FW and I must say it is pretty nice. I retract my previous bitching on this subject.
Some more control Dust side would be even nicer. Let corporations pay LP to place defense or attack contracts that prioritize battles along side the current system. |

Awesome idea. Allow entire corporations to participate in FW to further their own PC agenda, I like it.
The details need to be figured out, but I really like the principle of this

Actually with the current system it would not be difficult to implement.
The main thing I see as making it really good is if it only corps with a certain level or above in FW can place these contracts. You would see the formation of true FW only corporations and bring a much deeper game experience. Corporation standings toward the factional NPCs are already calculated Eve side so the bulk of the mechanics for this idea exist already.

I thought the same thing until I discovered the system that they refuse to talk about. The depth is pretty incredible as it stands right now.

Something you should figure out as it is very cool. Definitely the coolest thing about the link between the two games since they screwed up orbitals in FW.

Because in true New Eden fashion I am going to use it to screw people over. Why else would I have spent 100s of millions Eve side and Dust side to finally figure it out. |

Where is all the lp coming from???
Is there a lp wallet that you use to buy faction wafare clones?
Does a mail get sent to your Corp Notifaction saying that someone is attacking it?
Will it work like PC timers saying when the battle will start?

I know there are people in FW groups like PIE Inc who would use their LP to bump up priority of FW fights in systems.
Hell I have almost 400,000 LP that I will never spend EVE side unless its on Navy Slicers that I could use to set FW matches for groups in PCLAS, LolRomansboat, and Amarr1.
If it is a system following EVE logic then it would start the fight, have a short preparation time to wait for opposition to form up before the fight begins, and if no one shows up the district flips/locks for a period of time.

FW corps that wish to do this could apply a tax to LP payouts. No donations can be made so the only way in is participation in FW, the more high standing players you have the more you are able to do this thanks to higher payouts from them.
Clones would stay as is you are only paying for priority to put your Q sync on those districts or to attack Q syncs who are defending districts of importance.
Contracts would be cheap and only last for 2-4 hours. During this time you Q your team through corporate contracts. Empty slots on your side are filled by people searching through the regular battle finder. Enemy teams can purchase an attack contract and Q against you in the exact same manner. If your corp does not have a squad of atleast 6 queued waiting for a battle then the contract defaults and districts are selected just as they are now.

Eve players would flock to recruit Dust players under this system. If this was in place now the minmatar Eve players would likely be doing everything they can to keep battles going in certain systems dust side.

Oh......not risking any LP on the underlined. But all else sounds wonderful.
I'd rather we Dust players have the agency to chose where we fight than require EVE pilots to do us more favours.

Would be interesting if 16 was the max you could Q-sync...... but was economically unsustainable. I'd love to see some asymmetric battles and small squad vs squad battles.

How about if there is both an attack and defense contract on a district it is locked to only those contracts. This would mean that battles of 6v6 or whatever could be agreed upon while not breaking regular people searching which was my main thought process on randoms being filled in.
Also there should be a lock on a district if a certain number of battles under the defense contract have been won or a certain number of battles in a set period have been won.
