The heat build up is important if u defend objectives, actually if u have many enemies infront that hmg will overheat really fast, the dps is ok, if not, what was the point of introducing heavy weapons in dust, u better remove sentinels and all heavy weapons, heavies always been a freaking problem since 3 years ago, they have lived between nerf and buff, lol I have no issues against them since that time, but looks like many of u always will complain, I want to see another nerf against them, Sentinels will cry again and then ccp buff them and then u will cry and ccp will nerf once again as it is been for 3 years. Lol How about un buffing them by reducing thier rof by 100? They need some type of dps nerf, they are meant to hold objectives or defend, not instakill everything, my hmg never overheats no matter how many enemies I get, my only concern is ammo.

Couple this with scouts having to run 2 - 3 damps and shields being **** and the explosive resistance, the direct counter to heavies doesn't counter them anymore. You know what's also sad? Armor heavies outclass caldari heavies (primary shield tanks), and jt may be somewhat viable solo, but most heavies have logi's anyways...still sad going toe to toe is...terrible.

No, explosive resistance should stay, helps against grenades too.
The only problem is armor stacking and the hmg...mostly the hmg.
Oh the mass driver needs a small buff, mostly the crappy assault variant.

There is way too many heavies now. And that really isn't helping. We need to teach people that eHP =/= More Survivable. On paper it is, yes, which is why I assume so many noobs run around with them but a skilled player will always win against a crap heavy.
Then again, there needs to be an effective counter CQC. Shotgun isnt good enough, Knives arent, REs were a little too easy so im glad theyve been scaled back.
Having more eHP and a insta-die gun isnt fair. But an effective counter (without full racial parity), no clue. Funny, you mention remotes and remind me of something.
My remotes can be detonated as soon as they hit the ground basically.
