As far as can be told, salvage still drop at the same rate they did before Strongboxes got added. So don't be mad about that when arguing against Strongboxes.

Your right, before we got salvage every 1 in 20 matches. Now we get strong boxes 19 out of 20 matches and 1 key every couple of days.

BS, since strongboxes has been added, i only get strongbox, tons of boxes.
Before i was salvaging items in 1/3 of my matches.
Situational awareness also known as passive scan.

I have to respectfully disagree. It feels as if I am receiving a little less in terms of regular loot however this could be because of the absolute bombardment of silly boxes.
I am clear on one thing though for sure, officer weapon drops seem to be non existent. We used to salvage these weapons in batches of 10. Then only in batches of 3. Now not at all it would seem, if you want officer gear you have to pay with real money.
Pay2win if ever I have seen it - but its a gambling style pay to win that doesn't even make sense - "Typical CCP" - I hear you scream.
