Ramen is a particular favorite of mine.
Not the crap you buy as instant, but the one you can get at a local restaurant. It's brothier and the noodles are far more fluffy. It's more elegant and less bland than the version you buy at the stores.

Man, you want thick and hearty? Try Cheesy Hamburger Soup. We make it here in America during the winter. It's heavenly on a cold winters day.

I love Tomato soup. It's fantastic, especially when had with fresh Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
It's just that I often crave for something a bit out of the way, and I typically don't enjoy seafood.
My dad is huge fan of Bean and Bacon though.

Yeah, it's nice, but I don't really consider it a proper soup. A proper soup isn't just solid food floating in a watery base, it has a more consistent texture.
Eh, it kinda blurs the line between soup and stew. Especially with all the noodles thrown in.
Still great. It's basically a full dinner condensed into a bowl.

Grilled cheese sandwiches go well with a lot of soups! I've never tried bean & bacon, but I guess I can look into it.
What soup would go well with Earl Grey Tea?
I'm finishing my first cup, and headed to a second. It's just around 18:00 where I'm at, so its getting close to dinner time for me....
