*SSD Acquired*
So, Backstory, got a 240GB HDD from Best Buy(hate them even more every time i visit), thing breaks in a month. Bad Sectors, my PC says upon checking it.
So i call Best Buy, they say "That model never had a warranty to begin with" Followed by "Oh but you could check the manufacturer's warranty" So i call them up. MFC says the same thing, model NEVER HAD A WARRANTY TO BEGIN WITH.
So. They tell me they'll do a one time replacement, just buy the UPS sticker. Sadly I was broke the next week or 2, thinking "Oh, they said it'll have 30 days before the RMA is invalid" Nope, the sticker link died(along with the "temporary" warranty after like 7 days.
Sooo i start looking for an SSD for cheap.
Amazon has 20 GB SSDs for upwards of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Best Buy has them slightly more reasonable, at a 8GB SSD for 400 dollars.
Then I FINALLY find a 64 GB for 50 bucks- WOOT.
Go to the best buy, they're out of them. Only 2.5' SSD they have is a 120GB for 60 bucks. Great.
And all I have is 43 bucks and my mom's credit card...
TL:DR- Be afraid, be very afraid. 
Better loading times on EVERYTHING, better install times by 30x+, better EVERYTHING.
Oh, and no menu lag when i press the PS button

Sadly, I hadn't played before posting that, having played 1 match before my 8 year old sister booted me(through various fits of screaming and pleading with mom) I found there was literally no input lag, none of the "Press X to spawn" *X* Followed by 3 seconds of waiting before the timer goes down.
Also amazing was the fact that PS menu doesn't stall my system for 20+ seconds before being allowed to press PS again and close it

Sure, some SSDs were more than 2-10 PS4s, but I'm not going to go out and buy a PS4 when
A) I have a gaming PC.
B) I didn't have the 500 bucks to spend on a PS4 anyways
C)Nothing I want is even on PS4 yet, the next Armored Core game isn't going to be PS4, and I highly doubt they're going to make any Mecha simulator games(On the tier of Mechwarrior 2, Living Legends, or 4:Mercenaries)

Heard that equipment spam lag, and a few of the lag maps are not AS BAD...
I will most likely buy one as well due to my 2nd Gen Fat Boy being 6+ years old with thousands of hours of play on that old drive.

Gallente lag facility, no frame drops, although i didn't encounter many equipments... at all.
Although my squad mate was complaining it was a slideshow for him.
It's not perfect though, I still get the occasional building not rendering or the horrendous 3 minute straight lag spike where people are walking sideways through the air firing fully automatic Mass Drivers and I've just fallen through the floor. Also I've even noticed a few times where the system would hiccup and i'd be out of frame updates for a good .4 to .8 seconds.
All in all though: You should be balancing the game around this kind of stuff CCP
Also something i noticed: Caldari Light frame is no longer invincible(when i'm wearing it) and hit detection is TRULY horrible, especially on the slower fire weapons.

But yeah, SSDs are fast.
Try attempting to get a "Usable for Facebook and posting pictures to Craigslist" laptop for 300 bucks, the thing only has a 1.8 GHz CPU twin core and 512MB RAM, along with EVERY single thing pushed through "ASUS" Branded drivers.

It's worse with miscellaneous than Chrome is.
And here's the kicker: It's so whacked out, the wireless driver irrecoverably crashes after about 15 minutes of using it -restart-

Any 2.5" SATA will work, mine is actually slimmer than the carriage thing, but came with a plastic spacer to help with the screws.
