Soooo me and valcore predicted you would go at heat build up... Did it change anything? I see no change I feather the hmg when I use it.
How to deal with this.... Heavy spam.... First off most popular heavy is The ammar it needs a Weakness it needs less shield
But the hmg? No more heat build up... Let's look at the range?? Bring the range down by at least 20%?? Then see the decrease in heavy spam o7

Look it's the favourite heavy... Kinda obvious why.. I think the hmg is an issue but the suit joins in! Over 500 shield with an extender?!

I have been a dedicated heavy since I started! And so has valcore and we are both in agree ment! It needs to be "balanced" <--- not underperform, these nerfs to hmgs so far may annoy a few but heavy spam is growing I see less scouts more assaults but alot more heavies last night I versed a team of 12 heavies! Was impossible to break! Min heavy has speed which makes it weak, caldari has good shield but a flux will vanish it galentes mainly run ferroscale and reps which makes them weaker Amarrs are slow yes... But the share amount of hp on each side makes it stupid on top of the resistances

Yes but when maps and specifically, areas where objectives are - almost exclusively cater to that 10-20-30 meter CQC size rooms. All of which tend to be in enclosed corridors or facilities, that lack of speed doesn't mean so much. Personally I think HMG heavies are fine, I also worry that nerfs to the sentinel would also hurt Forge gunners which I am against. There is the LAV heavy but that is a separate issue. I do see a ton of heavies on certain maps, because of this people flock to scouts or their own heavies trying to fight back. That is what I see anyway. I'd say I never see many in ambush? Only really tiny cq maps and then very few. Objective maps reek of heavies they need Something but the heat build is awesome now? You can't go out of control! But range I feel is an issue? 40+ metres I have killed plenty! That's just stupid in my view! But oh no don't change forge guns! They're extremely balanced!

Then see the decrease in heavy spam o7 At least me and val are not the only ones who think this:) The Amarr and Gallente heavies have far too much shields in my opinion anyways. Heavies should be focused to tank one side or the other with the exception of the Minmitar heavy being that the Minmitar are the only Dual tanks. I'm all for Amarr having high shields and lower armor though as well as slot adjustments to make them the opposite of the Minmitar instead of just another Gallente race... but that's probably not going to happen. Amarr should have stayed the slow moving low regen/rep dual tanks that they used to be before lorists neutered game balance to make them Gallente 2.0 Yeah I know Gallente are supposed to be the armor reppers, but game balance wise that's impossible to implement in a meaningful way with how armor rep currently works. From what I hear the minmitar are supposed to be the shield regenerators according to Eve but they aren't and I'm cool with that because game balance > trying to mash two different genres together that don't mash.

Are you blaming the Sentinels for performing the role CCP gave them, point defense/breach? Nope I'm not :) as I stated I have been proto maxed out every heavies I love heavies. Just heavy spam is dominant
