Basically, this is what I know:
A clone pack costs 80 mil, right?
The average PC payout is 2.5 - 5 mil(?)
16 ppl X 4 mil payout (average guess) =/= 80 mil.
Does this mean that corps would be better off just distributing the dosh amongst their members in the first place? Where does the corp profit?

You do know that if you own a district you can move clones from it to attack rather then buying a pack right?

Districts make clones for free
Transfer is dirt cheap.
A good PC will net you around 2.5mil ISK PROFIT each time (You have to win, and I calculated 1.5mil ISK in losses. Good PC's that clone hard net this much ISK)
On average though, a PC will net you around 2.5mil ISK, which still comes out to ~1mil profit per match.
Not only that, if they no-show, 20mil gets split up between the team.
PC is profitable only if you win though. High Risk, High Reward.
