In your start menue you have a new area called 'salvage' that is in the same area as the market place & assets (at least im pretty sure)
You should see an orange notification the same as what you get for boosters, that will help you find it.
Select the strongbox out of your salvage, click 'open' and voila you have just obtained 18 basic nanite injecors!

I think there was a glitch, this time I did the same thing I did half a dozen times but today there was an OPEN selection.
Just like when I die I blame that damn lag, framerate, Aim Assist, Protostompers and Rattati, not necessarily in that order.
