>Constantly bitches and moans about how the AR is so bad, when it really isn't bad at all, and is actually performing on par. >Tries to say the AScR is fine, when it is performing worse in almost every measurable metric compared to the AR they so fervently think is terrible.
Just shut your mouth. You quite clearly don't give a damn about anything other than Gallente weapons. Bring on the Galfag hate!

No, that is a purposeful balancing feature. Im confused. Wouldn't legitimate recoil be better? I don't understand "visual" recoil. Doesn't make sense Visual recoil denotes that it makes the weapon appear extremely innacurate, though in reality the weapon settles itself again before the next shot because of its high center speed which completely negates the high recoil making the only consequence be visual. It's a sort of balancing feature that keeps everyone who seeks an easy weapon from using it.
Except its a feature of the Assault variant rifles to be a bit easier to use. They are they first weapons a new player will ever hold in their hands in most cases. Making them artificially difficult to use isn't helping new player retention at all. Remember than most newbros will be coming from games with simpler gameplay mechanics. Slapping them in the face with the complex mechanics of Dust, and a weapon that is deceptively difficult to use will just end up turning many people away. Its already enough that the weapon does overheat at all to confuse and frustrate some newbies.
The Shaking and Flashing needs to be reduced or removed in some combination. I'm not sure how much, but it needs it.

Then we must also reduce the mathematical effectiveness of the weapon because this obstruction is the only thing keeping the weapon in check. Let us also note that many weapons in COD have this same recoil peculiarity. The Kalashnikov series of weapons exemplifies this visual recoil pattern albeit with a vertical bias rather than a horizontal bias. Yet, the AK's in COD are seen as some of the best weapons in the series among skilled and unskilled users. I do remember that the AK is actually the last item that is unlocked in MW2 Multiplayer. And it was actually considered by pretty much everyone to be the very worst assault rifle in the game.
MW2 is actually the last CoD I ever really got into though, so things may be completely different nowadays for all I know.
