An interesting question I've been thinking to myself. If I wasn't Kador Ouryon (True Adamance) and wasn't nearly so invested in his character and Satja's characters who would I be in New Eden?
My answer is Gallentean...... I'd probably be Gallentean or maybe Civre. Not because I like their culture or what they stand for....those are boring as hell....but because I could make some damn interesting characters out of them. I primarily have a couple that I would RP as and they could well be the same person depending on how I want to roll.
- The first is a Gallentean ex-patriat and a member of Sanctuary, the search and rescue/militant arm of the SoE who doesn't so much believe in God and the whole EVE gate shenanigans but does genuinely want to help people. He never went to no higher school o'education, possibly had some undiagnosed concussion prior to becoming immortal and suffers from crippling migranes and self medicates on Crystal Egg.
- Or Simply Leithe Askarii whose suffered severe trauma at the hands of Gurista's and was forced to OD on some drug which caused his motor neurons/ synapses to burn out leaving him unable to naturally generate enough endorphins for him to function as a normal human being but perfect for amoral mercenary work and disaster response.
-Or something similar a former niche Gallentean adult holo-vid star surrounded by rumours of extreme dualistic practices and now a fervent believer in one of the Gallentean/SoE religions.

Riroji Vahtola - Former Black Eagle, wanted for treason by the Federation. He has been CEO of Kaalmayoti Warzone Control, a corporation now maintained by Viktor Revon, and been largely influential to Viktor Revon. Recently he has gone into hiding on the border of Jovian Space.
Grimic Novab - A former human trafficker who, after being threatened, adopted the Clone Transplant. He now earns a living by selling Mindflood.
Johnathan Minecloak - An Matari loyalist. Nothing more to him than that really.
I find it sad that there are so many short answers.

Fun question, I like it. My current set of characters currently has a direct connection to Galm, but if I were to have never chosen a Caldari I have two other characters that never really had a chance to happen.
1) Ilya 'The Reaper' Silber-- The son of an obscure nobleman in the Khanid system, raised to be another worthless pampered lord of a meaningless plot of land. Ended up forming a romantic bond with his wiping boy, leading to a series of conflicting feelings about his faith. He beings to see just how far he can push the boundaries of his religion, eventually driving him to constantly attend Sani Sabik sacraments in secret. One day he awakens from yet another ritual to find that in a drug-induced high he had murdered his wiping boy and used his blood for the ceremony. When his father discovered his crime he arranges a wedding between Ilya and a woman from another noble house, threatening to report his crime if he did not go through with the marriage. The night before the event, a coven of Blood Raiders descends upon his estate to 'liberate' Ilya by happily slaughtering everyone but Silber. Years later, Ilya is known colloquially as 'The Reaper' by mercenary contractors who frequently hire him to put down rebel uprisings... Whatever the cost.
I know, I know, seems really dark and #3edgy5me but Silber would actually rely more on his reputation as a weapon than anything else. At the end of the day he was just a teenager that got wrapped up in the wrong crowd, and ended up paying the price for it. But when an Amarr Templar shows up with a Grim Reaper on his shoulder and a shark mouth spray painted across his helmet, no ones going to ask questions.
2) Sven 'Faust' Faustus-- A sebiestor who got roped into immortal service by Minmatar propaganda videos. Overall, just a really down to earth character, if not a bit of a screw-up. A lot of my ideas for Sven's personality went into Galm, but instead of it being a sort of jaded defense mechanism Faust would have just been a genuine man-child constantly upholding unit moral.

A Caldari man who started off life as any other Caldari officer, though he was arrogant. His recklessness cost him his legs at the Battle for Caldari Prime. After rehabilitation he was given the option to be a clone. He accepted and has returned with a peaceful nature who prefers to fight with strategy rather than instinct; he believes that the best offence is a falling defense.
He is a new man who will seek to be righteous in all his actions.

You know ironically Galm in Dead Six we had two TSF pilots who I was hoping to join after D6 broke up.
Instead after learning more about the Nation (I thought it was a pseudo evil neutral power in New Eden not universally hated) I went Amarr.....
So now you probably understand the original meaning of True Adamance which I re purposed into be indicative of the two qualities I valued most in Kador's character.

For me it's either a cal. Who got luckly and is seeing the real new Eden for the first time.
Or a freed minmatar who is a man of the faith (just because I never see it)
Tbh when legion comes out it will be one of these too. Most likely the Cal is its more of a blank sheet to work from

I don't RP at all anymore but, I would probably be a semi-devout half True Amarr, half Sebestor/Brutor Minmatar who grew up as one of the 5 children of an Amarrian diplomat ((2 brothers 2 sisters)). He would have trouble deciding between which side of his blood to follow, since both his parent's families despise one another.
He would look distinctly like his Minmatar father, only inheriting his Amarrian mother's clear blue eye color.
Around the age of 18-25 ((still have't decided)) his Minmatar father was killed in a crossfire between a Minmatar terrorist cell and an Amarrian security force. He was shot by the Amarr group right in front of his son. He quickly ran to cover in a nearby building, which the Amarr group thought was him attempting to flank them. They had a member of the team open fire on the building he was hiding in and eventually moved in and arrested him. Believing him a member of the terrorist group, he was severely beaten by the officers, who had lost 5 men and several civilians in the attack, before realizing who they were attacking.
He eventually healed and began learning to defend himself, the beating having imprinted a simmering hatred for both the Minmatar terrorists for starting the fight and the Amarrian security forces for going well beyond the needed force for a peaceful surrender.
He began to hate die-hard Nationalists, blaming them for both sides behavior. Determined not to lose another loved one to senseless violence, he begins learning ways to defend himself and his family from the various bodyguards in his mother's employ. This eventually evolves into an obsession with protecting civilians in general after seeing similar attacks in the news over the next several years. One day he got what he wished for and helped stop a pirate raid on his mothers ship. He joins the clone program shortly afterward along with one brother and later one sister. ((Who joined for different reasons I have yet to come up with.))
His Faction standing is more neutral, but with heavy Amarr influence in his lifestyle and behavior thanks to his raising.
Let me know if I missed any bases.
But, i'm not dead!

A Matari named Rust.
He knows nothing but war and does not care for things like love and music. As a growing boy he watched the Amarr kill his parents. It was an accident but he does not see it that way.
He does not get along with others and because of that he stays away or keeps them away by being rude and hostile.
Despite his rough demeanor, he is a brilliant tactition and prefers the sublteties of Black Ops, Sabotage and Assassination.
He is also a loner that wishes he had friends but doesn't allow anyone to get close.

It went down. I've also been in L.O.T.U.S, Zion TCD, and a few others I forget.
Did I get Lotus right? Can't remember their name to the letter, but I joined up twice. Knew Zion Shad, pretty laid back guy from my experience, and joined up with TCD.
Now if only I remembered the password to the PSN that had him on it's friends list. ))
