We all started as pub stars first. PC didn't come around till Uprising.
People learn how to play DUST in Pubs.... Some Become Pub Stars... Names people look out for.. And they pull consistent high scores there.
They then come to PC... and have a hard time breaking even, or going even 2/1 KDR in match.
Kalante was opposite.. He became better in the clutch of PC. He Pulls those scores in intense crazy competitive matches.
I have a bunch of friends that could put up Pub scores similar or better all day.... But I Haven't seen or known anyone to put up PC scores like Kalante does consistently.

Kalante. Dude got over 5000 kills with a single gun in 3 days. He is the most dedicated, talented AR user I've ever known. I don't sq with him often, but I make sure to send him an 07 when I do. The others are wicked talented too, but I've never played with them that much aside from Delta, who also destroyed me :)

AH, Kalante. I forgot about him. However I have won a few 1v1's against him back when I was running Galante Logi, 700+Armor/300+ shields. He is good, but I don't think he's better than Delta or Reg, maybe Ex. Granted Delta does get a lot of kills, mostly killing noobs, but his play style is sophisticated. I've laid RE's down and sprayed into a crowd of about six. I killed them all, but I always noticed Delta will drop back and wait to attack, allowing the others to bite the bullet, then he hopes out, knowing that I have to reload. It's not so much about 1v1, but how they attack and defend in certain situations. It's an art form. It's beautiful. You can always separate the ones who have been playing for awhile aside from those who haven't, by one simple action. Do they watch their flank?  . At the very least, is it safe to say, that these are our top 4?

I'd give it to Reg since Blitz is more of a tank wh0re  , and I don't think I've ever been impressed by Ecstasy (not to say he's not a good player)

Reg was undoubtably one of the best beta players. Which is saying something because there were quite a few greats. Over time tho I think quite a few players surpassed him in skill. Kal is the first person that comes to mind. Alldin is another. I know most of the PC's Ive played against IMPs/AE ect, I was usually surprised by reggie's performance (or lack there of.) PCs are way different than pubs tho. He could have been popping links most of the time for all I know.
1v1 I would rather go up against Reg over Kal, because I know I at least have a chance
I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.

Reg and Kal both have sick gun game, but I'd probably give the edge to Kal.
xprotoman and Alldin were also beasts, but when I last went up against them, it was a long time ago, so I have trouble comparing their game to the other two. |

I never really truly found a way to respect Alldin because he was always doing some cheap sh-t like the Logi LAV self-repping exploit or standing on Wiyrkomi Triage hives in his brick-tanked Sentinel.
Like, don't get me wrong the guy knows how to get effectively farm scrubs, but I've never seen him do something and gone "omg he's so skilled". He knows how to exploit game mechanics really well, but I've literally never had a chance to go face-to-face with him in terms of sheer gunplay because he was always in a tank, LAV, or camping a supply depot as a Heavy in almost all my games.

In terms of ever being scared of certain players, Calamity Jane II takes the cake for me. That dude wrecked my face so hard in Chromosome. It was a good lesson though.

Extacy is a FoTM hopper who runs around in a cal shotty whose probably killed me a couple more times than I killed him.
Deltablitzkrieg is quite the k/d wh0re still a phenomenal slayer but not nearly as good as reg or kal
I've killed reg once or twice but never in a 1vs1 and when I did come across him I was more impressed with his aim then his strafing.
I honestly think reg would win and kalante a very close second.
