For all vehicles really.... would it be possible to have the seats available whether there is a turret or not?

The problem then becomes, blueberries can hop in my tank and just sit there, being useless/waiting to steal it if I hop out.
But in conjunction with an actual vehicle lock, this would be a fantastic idea.

I've proposed a "Seat Module" that takes a turret slot and makes it another sit-able space so you get the choice of extra passengers or not.
No fitting requirements but would have a small ISK cost.

can you place the turret on the top of the tank and not have it teleport to the second spot like it used to?

No, because I don't want blue dots leeching points for doing nothing when I'm blowing stuff up. They're not shooting installations, vehicles and infantry, I am. Why should they get anything for doing nothing?
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

I'd love seat modules. Just having four seats in my solo ADS so I can more effectively hop my squadmates about without sacrificing a ton of survivability to fit the necessary turrets would be great.
As much as it would be a pain for ground vehicles without a vehicle lock implemented, it would still be voluntary.
