I've been listening to "Volumes" for a week now and wanted to know if there are anything similar or something I just had to check out being new to this genre of music... so any picks?

Exactly, that's 90% of what is played on the radio. Honesty after the 90's it lost its way big time but trust me if you look for the select few that don't try to popularize drugs and being on the streets you'll find a whole community of just laid back music.
