Those advocating for Bandwidth as a solution to spam, and claiming to be in-the-know with CPMs and Developers, argued that Bandwidth would be good for Logi's because it would go hand-in-hand with a total Logi class overhaul and review that would make them the equipment champs. The changes would happen near-simultaneously, and that would make it just dandy.
I'm sure they are right, and I expect to see the Logi class overhaul soon(TM).
But in all honesty, my predominant play style (squad-based repping and support) has not changed much as a result. Since there are fewer folks pre-deploying uplinks and nano's, and flux OBs firing like crazy in some matches, I am making more risky solo jaunts to supply depots, but otherwise not much different after just a few days of play.
Overall, I AM seeing more red-lining or surrounding because I see fewer uplinks spread around the map. I've seen more assaults and scouts carrying needles. Haven't seen more folks carrying rep tools.
FPS = First Person Support. Kills win battles but it's kinda hard to kill if you're dead and out of ammo.

I was not a fan of BW because I thought there were cleaner ways to eliminate or reduce spam, particularly from role-switchers. Although I was not concerned that it would harm true Logis, I also didn't think it would help them. Good Logis would still place good equipment in good places. I think in general, BW has been Logi-neutral.
What I believe has hurt Logis like me is cheap flux orbitals. I have seen a few more redline and surround battles perhaps because the good scattering of uplinks around the map seems to be depleted more quickly. A squad-based Logi is less likely to keep spare links in stock, and therefore more likely to feel they are letting the team down by not making suicide runs to the supply depot. OR to feel like they are letting their SQUAD down by leaving them to do so. In several matches, I have felt something I never thought I would feel before...a desire to spawn back in as a speed scout with links in order to sprint to the other side of the battlefield and deploy links. Shiver.
This hasn't been a huge thing, and maybe more dedicated Logi's will evolve to fill the void, but at the moment, I think that flux OB has had an impact on Logi's far more than BW.
