I can't help but be a little amused at someone toting a 1.26 W/L ratio when mine for Gal FW is apparently 11.08.

Not everyone is a 50 Million SP veteran who regularly runs with squad members from, arguably, one of the most successful corporations in the game and spends X matches a week proto-stomping nobodies. I think I realised it a couple of months ago but I'm not doing anything worthy of note in FW, I'm not being challenged, I'm not doing anything special or note worthy in game (lore wise its different) etc. Walking over unsquadded players and newbies is nothing to brag about.
I don't have 50 mil SP.
I don't squad with corpmates to play Gal FW. EDIT: I've never actually run an FA squad in GFW.

@True - Eh. It's a little sad, really. Even with pub 'matchmaking' there are rarely 'good fights'. When those actually turn up, though... That's what I play DUST for.
I think the golden age of FW was in the period after 1.7 when it received its major revamp. I remember seeing Q-synced Gal/Cal on both sides once or twice, and there were often squads on both sides.
It's just gone to FotM chasing now, though. I can't speak for the Min/Amarr warzone, but there are far too many bandwagoners on the Gal FW side. I make a habit of cleaning the MCC midway through the match of AFKers.

Like I said, there is a middle class, and lots if guys are in it. But compared to the sheer number of the federation as a whole, it's relatively small.
Their gap between rich and poor is bigger then the other races.
This is completely wrong.
The Federation, proportionally, has the largest middle class in New Eden.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.
